Effective Date: July 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Notepad Library, a Chrome extension developed by Boni Aditya, handles user data.
Purpose of the Extension
Notepad Library helps users create, organize, edit, reopen, and export a collection of notepads from Chrome. It supports local notes, notepad.pw links, notepad.cc links, folders, a notepad-only history view, Markdown editing, rich text editing, and note export features.
Data the Extension Handles
Notepad Library may handle the following data only for its note management features:
- Local note content: text, Markdown, HTML/rich text, links, and other content that users type into local notes.
- Note metadata: note titles, note type, creation time, update time, folder placement, and editor type.
- Folder data: folder names, folder structure, and collapsed or expanded folder state.
- Supported notepad history: directly opened notepad.pw and notepad.cc URLs, page title, open time, and open count.
- Extension settings: sidebar collapsed state, sidebar width, history collapsed state, and similar display preferences.
Data the Extension Does Not Collect

- Health information
- Financial or payment information
- Passwords, credentials, tokens, PINs, or authentication information
- Location data
- Analytics such as mouse movement, scroll tracking, keystroke logging, or behavioral advertising data

How Data Is Used
Data handled by Notepad Library is used only to provide the extension’s notepad features, including:

- Showing a history folder for directly opened notepad.pw and notepad.cc links
- Opening supported notepad links from the sidebar

Local Storage
Local notes and extension settings are stored using Chrome extension storage on the user’s browser. This data is used by the extension so that the user’s notes and organization remain available between browser sessions.
Notepad Library does not operate a developer server for collecting, syncing, selling, or analyzing user note content.
Online Notepads
Notepad Library supports opening and organizing notepad.pw and notepad.cc pages. Online notepad content remains on those third-party websites and is subject to the privacy practices of those websites.
The extension’s notepad history is limited to supported notepad.pw and notepad.cc links. It is not designed to collect unrelated browsing history.

Notepad Library does not sell, rent, or transfer user data to advertising networks, data brokers, or third parties for marketing or profiling.
The extension does not use user data for personalized advertising, retargeting, credit evaluation, or unrelated analytics.
Remote Code
Notepad Library does not use remote code. JavaScript, editor libraries, styles, icons, and extension assets are packaged locally with the extension.
Limited Use Disclosure
The use of information handled by Notepad Library will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
User data is used only to provide or improve the extension’s single purpose: creating, editing, organizing, reopening, and exporting notepads. User data is not sold, transferred for advertising, or used for unrelated purposes.
Data Deletion
Users can delete notes and history entries from inside the extension. Users can also remove all locally stored extension data by clearing the extension’s storage in Chrome or uninstalling the extension.
Security
Notepad Library stores local note data in Chrome extension storage. Users should avoid saving highly sensitive information such as passwords, financial details, health information, or private credentials in notes.
